Hair Extensions

A traditional sew in or partial sew in is when the hair extensions are applied on a track or weft to your braided natural hair by thread. A small portion of your natural hair is left out to cover the track. Traditional sew ins are a great protective style since 85% of your hair is covered.  It also provides a realistic and natural hair line and the hair extensions look as if they are growing out of your scalp. A vixen sew in is a variation of the traditional sew in where more of the natural hair is left out so the hair can be parted in various way and pulled up into a pony tail. A frontal or closure sew in is when the natural hair is completely braided and no hair is left out.  Hair extensions are applied on or a track or weft to the braided natural hair by a thread. Rather than leaving a portion of the natural hair out to blend with the hair extensions, a closure or frontal is applied.  The closure or frontal is typically made of lace.  It can be bleached and plucked to create a realistic hair.  It is key that the closure or frontal is applied correctly so that it lays flat.  A flat closure or frontal installation looks very natural and completely protects the natural hair.  Click here to book.  Click here to purchase hair. 

A quick weave sew in is when the hair extensions are applied on a track or weft to your braided natural hair by a specially made adhesive or glue.  The natural hair is braided or molded with a gel to prepare a flat base.  A liquid cap is then applied to the natural to  to protect the natural hair and scalp from the adhesive or glue.
